Day 2 of Opti fast and ....................

I already have the opti trots, my poor soon to be little bum, it is sooooo sore. and I have 12 more days to go.. and to think I was worried about constipation.

Not to worry, Sharon -- it may well change.  I had OptiTrots for the first couple of days, and then by the end (he he he) it morphed into the OptiClogs.

I can only suggest, to ease the discomfort, to clean the (ahem) affected area very well, pat dry, and then apply a protective coating of petroleum jelly.  It really helps with the "scalding" effect of the OptiTrots.

I start the opti on Monday, not looking forward to the process, but sure looking forward to the results.

I find that putting corn starch on the area works instantly. I have always used it on my kids bums for diaper rash and have never had to use any creams etc.. Good luck Krista...

Hoping my poor old knees can handle the mad dash, due to the opti trots....(when I get there) Anxiously waiting to meet the surgeon May 10.

My centre recommends Metamucil caplets. I bought the generic version. I know it seems like a backward solution to take fiber when you are already "loose" but it works. I took 2 caplets with each shake and was nicely regular the whole time.
