One more step forward. The urea breath test on Thursday May 2nd

Reaching out to the people in the know here on the forums and wondering if anyone else had this test done? 

 

My MO(PCP) found i tested positive for H Pylori back in Jan and then put me on the triple dose Anti bios. I have no idea though if they did the trick and if I'm now H pylori free, Good news is they found nothing out of the ordinary on my endoscope but i don't know if that test back in March shows H pylori or not.

 

So that leads me to this Thursday, I'm taking the breath test and I have no idea what to expect, would hate to start three more weeks of the triple dose 'cure"

 

I've requested my file be transferred to Humber river as myself and my family are posted this summer to CFB Borden(Barrie) hoping things pick up speed,  anyone have anything nice to say about Humber river.

 

 

When you have the breath test you'll be given a foil type bag to breath into then asked to drink a lemon flavoured liquid and then 40 mins later breath into another foil bag. As for HRRH, I had my surgery there almost 4 weeks ago under Dr. Hagan who is wonderful. As for the hospital stay, it was average, I hate hospitals in general so was glad to go home.....no real complaints about the care received though. It is was it is!
