I'm trying to understand this post.
Can you say what has happened and what you wanted to be done? Why does the doctor say he cannot make you better? I'm so sorry there is a problem, but is there any more information so we can better understand.
I'm really sorry to hear staff are not being very kind and the pain medication needed is not coming quickly enough and you are feeling so ill.
Someone has to help. Don't give up.

Sorry I can't cut and paste on my phone. . .please see my post from February 03, 2013. "breaking the silence"
additional information to that thread I saw a physician at a tertiary care centre (Mt Sinai) I sat there while he dictated his note that what is needed is an open procedure in which every piece if scar tissue and every adhesion is pedaled away from the small intestine and a temporary, likely permanent ileostomy done.
It is going to be a very long tedious procedure because my small bowel is extremely fragile and I have very limited bowel left (

Hi Leona,
I did go back and read your post from a couple months ago. I understand so much better now and I am really sorry to hear that these brilliant minds haven't made a decision yet on what to do next to help you. I really hope something is done very soon. Nobody should have to go this amount of time suffering like this. Those nurses should not be nurses at all if they cannot be kind and understanding when they have a patient that has experienced so much difficulty. I'm sure everyone here is just praying for you and that something has to be done a.s.a.p.
Stay strong, I'm sure this situation will get better. I'm still fairly new here but I will be thinking about you like everyone else here.
It sounds like something will be done soon because they have to.

My hands want to strangle the 'care' that you are not getting....my heart wants to hug you, and my brain wants to tell you that you are reaching out in the best way you can.. You are your best nurse, you are smarter than the average bear.
