I like you as a blond . Your haircut and colour look great now but if you want a change go for it. I would advise against double processing the hair i.e. don't go for highlights and lowlights until you have lived with a single colour process for a while and see what it does to your hair. I have stopped the highlights as it was very damaging and drying to my hair even with a good colourist. I don't even need to bleach to highlight as I am a natural blonde (grey mostly now) and 20% developer on top of 20% just fried the hair.
I too have really noticed a difference in texture in my hair and the volume in front especially never came back to original thickness so I keep mine short.
