What are you eating/doing today (Wednesday)
I can't even imagine biking to your workplace from your home! Seems like such a long trip to me, but then, I'm not great at cycling. Looking forward to going to yoga with you tonight!
Yesterday: walked to the farmer's market near East General before work, got a bunch of great produce which I enjoyed all day yesterday and will be eating all day today. :) I am finding myself feeling hungry during the day (real hunger, the kind where your stomach growls), so I'm going to bulk my menu up a bit with more veggies and fruit since they don't have many calories, and the few carbs they have are "good" ones. And I got 11,500 steps in yesterday as a result of that walk in the morning! Awesome.
I find it hard to get those high protein totals without the protein supplements, but I ran out and haven't had a chance to get more Premier Protein shakes. And honestly, I seem to be doing okay without them - my protein totals are always above 70g, so I'm okay with that since the dietitian said that the minimum is 60g. And she also warned me about going TOO protein heavy, and while she didn't nix the protein shakes and supplements, she thought it was a good thing to learn how to plan protein into my day only using "real food". Still figuring out the new body - every time I drop a few pounds, my body takes a few days to adjust and I have to figure out what proportions of protein/carb/fat works now.
Today: Work, then yoga tonight. I'm going to try to walk to and from yoga to get those good step totals in again today. We'll see how my energy level is...

Kristaeb - your plan for today sounds really good. I think you're doing quite well, at least as far as intake is concerned. What about your exercise? Are you walking?

Still holding at 140 lbs, 2 years and 4 months post-op. Not bad. Could stand to lose 10 of those pounds I had regained.
