Day 3 on Opti

I'm STARVING!!!!! Seriously, I'm totally hungry. I feel light headed and weak. I'm not used to a lot of sweet so I think all this artificial sweetener is making me more hungry than I normally would be. And totally craving Diet Pepsi which I gave up months ago. Kinda miserable :(

I'm on day 12 of Opti, and I've found that Diet Pepsi (which I also quit a while back) is really helping my hunger cravings, thanks to the gasses in it. If your program allows it, I say go for it...you quit it once, you can do it again.
Try some chicken broth it really helps take edge off and change the taste in your mouth a bit.

Don't give into your starving, it will pass, mine just did. Are you allowed to have green veggies? It is something I look forward too. I get a broth, I love vegetable and make a soup out of it.
Like my mom says, 'eyes on the prize', good luck!

I'm on day 13 and opti sucks! It's so hard...I don't care what anyone says!!! I felt the same way as you...but have the broth and stay away from the Pepsi...I gave up diet coke the I started opti and I had a headache for 5 days, the way your feeling will pass its your body detoxing! I thought on day 3 I was gonna die! Have the shakes, add extra water or coca to it to cut the sweetness, drink tons of water and have the broth... The broth and water is what has been saving me.... You can do it!

hang in there it will be worth it! Keep lots of reminders around you why you are doing this. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!
Keep the faith the program really works. I did Optifast 15 years ago, had Rny surgery in 2008 had a bit of a weight gain and have been back on it since the 16th of July have lost 15 pounds so far. Feeling great...was light headed and weak feeling for the first week. Hand in there I;m not able to handle all 4 shakes anymore...can't get them down. This is the time to work on your mind hunger. The results will well be worth it. Enjoy the journey to success.
