HRRH - who can I call?

Hello fellow HRRH's  I have recently been referred to HRRH and I want to follow up.  I was referred June 19.  I know it hasn't even been 2 months yet, but I was originally referred in Sep. 2012 and sat around waiting till June till I followed up and found out I wasn't even registered!  So I don't want to be sitting around again.

 

I'm really struggling with this. I am sitting around putting on weight and getting more frustrated, tired, and scared.  Can someone please give me the number of whom I might contact at HRRH to see what stage my referral is at?

Have you checked with the registry to see if they sent your file to HRRH?  905-522-1155 Ext. 35346 

If yes, then call the HRRH bariactric clinic to inquire. 416-747-3720.

Thanks Annette!  I did confirm with the Bariatric Registry, and that's how I know I have in fact been referred to HRRH.

Perhaps I'm being a bit of a baby but I'm nervous about calling.  I've heard horror stories about how rude they can be.  Are the staff at HRRH approachable?

Go for it seriously you should call. Be sweet as pie to them they or at least a couple can be crusty and have no personality at all but the care you will get from the nurse/dietician/Drs is A plus.
