Felt great today!!! :)

Hi Guys,

Sorry I haven't been on much.  I have been getting use to my new life with my new pouch.  I am two weeks today post op.  I have been battling on and off tiredness.  I actually called the office and spoke to the dietician and they suggested I get my blood work done with my family Dr.  So I did two days ago, and no call from his office yet.  So I assume things are normal, but will double check with a phone call tomorrow.  However, yesterday and today I have felt really good, and not so tired.

I started pureed foods today.  Not much down, two melba toast rounds with some low fat cream cheese.  But I get in my protein through shakes everyday!

I also felt accomplished as I went for a longer walk tonight about 30 mins and it didn't exhaust me.  I really have to stop stepping on the scale everyday ... it drives me nuts not to see the same results as I had on opti ... and I keep saying to myself, "trust the process, you are doing everything right, you are getting all your protein in"  Mind over Matter!!!

Thank you all for your continued support!!!!  I am on my way! :):):)

at two weeks, your body is still in recovery from major surgery. Give yourself a break, nap when you need to.

You sound like you're doing well, and like things are happening the way they're supposed to.

Hugs!

Be kind to yourself.  Still in the recovery stage. But it sure sounds like you are on the mend.
