Toronto western / otn date

Thank you to those who provided contact info and tips. After about 100 tries i reached a real live person and was able to confirm my file was received and my OTN is this friday. Here's hoping they give me a surgery date. I was so excited to have somebody answer the phone i forgot to ask who the surgeon was. I'm on cloud 9 because i was approved for surgery Aug 1, but then things came to a halt in Sudbury.

That's great. Hopefully everything will go quickly now for you. I too am approved and waiting for my file to be sent to TWH. Goodluck!

They should be giving you a surgery date and I would think you will get a date before xmas, how exciting!  Just so you know what ever Surgeon you see at your appt Friday may not be your surgeon the day of surgery.  The surgeons rotate and they are all excellent surgeons and you will be in amazing hands no matter who you get.  (I work at Toronto General Hospital and know them all they are all great).  I wish you the best and look forward to hearing about your journey here on OH.

I hope to hear of you on the bench soon. Its always exciting when you meet the surgeon. I had a issue with my first surgeon, he called me himself after meeting and explained how overbooked he was and I switched to another surgeon. Was shocked when I got a surgery date a month after meeting new surgeon. Cant wait to hear who your surgeon will be, they are all amazing
