Opti Question
How does the surgeon determin how long your on opti for?

Minimum is 2 weeks unless they call you with a cancellation and you get away with just a few days or a week. Some go by weight as in if our weight is in the 200's, you do 2 weeks, in the 300's, you do 3 weeks, etc. I have seen some surgeons give every patient 3 weeks regardless of weight and I've seen others waive Optifast if your BMI is below a certain point. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme nor reason to how they figure it out. Your weight is low so I'd count on 2 weeks.
