1 month visit

I just came back from my visit with the surgeon and I'm glad to report that I'm finally on the mend. After a very hard 7 weeks he told me I'm healing well and I'm losing weight satisfactory. Besides the MRI showing I had gallstones, he wanted me to do an ultrasound to make sure they are stones as MRI can be a bit sensitive. Both him and I don't want surgery so soon after the RNY and will only do it as a last resort. He told me to follow the diet the clinic gave me as it also prevents stones in bariatric patients. I am actually feeling better and just went shopping and OMG I like shopping now. This is going to be a very gooood christmas and I can't wait for what the new year brings.

Thank you. I'm so happy especially after the initial hiccups. I lost 33lbs before surgery, 11lbs on opti and 44lbs after surgery. So hopefully soon, I'll be in onederland.
