I knew about the hair loss and all and i was prepared for that. For me, it started around the 3 month mark and started slowing down around 6 1/2 months. Then BAM, i'm now in month 9 and it's picking up steam again. I thought it once it started slowing down, that was it, didn't expect it to pick up speed again. ARRRGGG!!! I think i might have to cut my hair way short. The only saving grace is i'm gonna be a slim good looking bald lady, lol.

I'm still losing and I'm 2 years post op. Lucky I've got a lot of hair but the regrowth is horrible looking. I have to use an oil to have it stay down a bit.

Just curious...

But assuming that the hair loss is linked to the malabsorption, did the nutritionist, dietitian or doctor recommend a supplemental increase or sublingual/injectable supplements?

It's mostly due to the trauma of major surgery. It grows back!

Here's a good link explaining it: Telogen Effluvium

Oh dear. Hope i don't keep losing it. It would take forever to get it back for me.
