I hurt and I'm freaked out

I'm 4 weeks out now but the drinking isn't getting any easier. It really hurts to swallow. I've tinkered with some of the soft foods but it was worse.

I was having an issue with acid burning my throat so started prepcid ac.

So I'm freaked out because my mind keeps going to it's another leak. Probably not logical but hey that's how I roll lol. I have a scope on 9/16 and then followup on 9/22 to see what's going on.

When someone says a revision is different and much harder they are not kidding.

I don't have any advice but wanted to say I'm sorry you're in so much pain. I really hope you can get some answers with your scope. Hang in there kid! Big hug

Hope they figure it out so you don't have to suffer anymore.  So sorry, and good luck!

Hope you feel better soon and they figure it out.  If it gets worse perhaps you should go to emergency.

Dawn, I'm sorry to hear that you're still struggling. Glad you have a scope scheduled to see what's going on in there. I can only imagine how much more difficult this recovery has been for you - they did a hell of a lot of work in there to take down the old RNY and then do the revision. I will say, you were looking really good on Saturday considering your recent surgery and complications! I was thrilled to see you and "the boys" there, only wish I had been able to spend time at your end of the room, kind of got "corralled" at the other end with questions etc.

Just do the best you can at this point I guess. Wish I had a helpful answer or suggestion for you. Keep us updated - we care!
