Ketosis has set in! - Lightheaded question

No hunger pains today! It was a rough 3 days coming into this 4th day let me tell you.

I was wondering something, I took a walk yesterday to take my mind off the hunger and was a little lightheaded I'm assuming from the lack of calories. I now worry after surgery when I'm only able to get in 400-600 calories am I going to be lightheaded? If so will it last or is it sort of an adjustment period?

Now that I'm so close the questions are really coming up haha!

I had my surgery a week ago and I am getting in 700-800 calories a day with the protein powders and such. You will be fine. I was fine after a while on Opti and amazed at how little calories I needed to survive.

I also can't believe how little calories you truly need to have energy. To me, I've learned that it's really how you feel, not how much you eat.....I'm 6.5 mos post op and i'm 8-900 a day and feel fabulous, more energy than ever.

Thanks for the replies! I'm glad to hear energy shouldn't be a problem.

Make sure you're drinking enough water.  I added that liquid Crystal Light to my water and Opti.  Try and get all 4 drinks in if you can.  It'll help.  I actually found once ketosis kicked in I had ridiculous energy.  I was walking for miles every day with my water jug in hand.  Getting the sugars out of my system felt awesome.  Hang in there.

I'm just a few days out, and doing fine energy wise.  Sure I'm tired a bit, but just had major surgery so there's that.  lol.

You're almost there.  I'm excited for ya!!
