BELT LIFT

Has anyone had a belt lift. I have had a meeting with Dr Nanda and would like to hear anyone's story about this surgery.

Hi joeyanne I don't know what a belt lift is, but I do hope to one day have a tummy tuck and upper arm lift once I have lost all my weight and am stable at my goal for 2 years.  When is your procedure date?  I just wanted to let you know that I  am rooting for you and sending you good vibes for a speedy recovery!  I am sure you will do great!  Be sure to keep us posted.

I haven't set the date but it would be sometime in Feb waiting to hear back to see if panni will be covered.

I think it is a lower body lift.

I haven't had one but have looked into the process. If you have ever heard of a circumferential lift, it's the same thing. They will remove a band of skin (usually 4-8 inches wide all the way around front and back (depends on your excess), then sew you back up. you end up with a scar that looks like a magician cut you in half. so I guess you could joke about it :) it's mean to remove excess skin but also 'lift' the lower body somewhat. a 'lower body lift' is not the same though. that involves thighs and butt.

I've looked into these because I will likely need them myself.
