Hi everyone, this might sound like a strange question....what questions did you ask the surgeon when you met him???

I'm the kind of guy that won't have any until after i see him on the way home!

I've read as much as I can and know I am prepared.

I will be buying the optifast that day as well as attending the post op info session that same afternoon. I believe it covers food intake etc after surgery.

If any could give me an idea what i should be asking I will appreciate it.

This forum has been a great resource.

thanks in advance

I was fairly educated on the process as I've done years of research, but I asked my surgeon about a hiatus hernia I had when I was younger and what would happen if it was still there, and then I asked about my back pain I've had for years, and how anti-inflammatories were the only thing I used to manage it...

Just ask anything you may be worried about.  They don't slot you in for much time, but go over as much as they can and ask you any questions they feel they need to make an informed decision about whether you are fit for the surgery.
