Finally have my appointment with the surgeon July 21!!!

i am very nervous and excited as I just got the call to meet the surgeon!! July 21st!!! Any advice about the choice of RNY and Skeeve??

Who is the doctor?    You don't actually get to choose, the doctor does.. The sleeve is for people that cannot have RNY. 

The nurse practitioner told me if you had a justifiable reason for preferring one or the other based on health concerns or lifestyle, that most of the surgeons are happy to discuss this with you.  I asked for the sleeve because I need to take medication and I was worried about absorption and the surgeon agreed with me that it was probably a better choice for me.  But I did a lot of research on my own.

Happy you got the VSG.  This is my preference too due to absorption issues and taking NSAIDs.  Hope my surgeon sees it that way too on July 29th!!
