Stuck

it feels like th scale has been stuck forever. I am at 95.5 pounds lost. I have added exercise and feel in general I have been pretty diligent with my food. My first big goal was 100 down by my bday which is in 11 days. I have 4.5 to get to that goal but I don't think I am going to make it. Argh.

I'm not an expert but I've been doing a lot of reading and apparently your body needs to settle and probably will be showing your weight loss in a few weeks because our cells take 30 days to catch up... This can happen in weight gain and in weight loss.. You're doing great don't get discouraged!!

It's always so annoying when our bodies don't realize our minds have these deadlines!!!

Happy upcoming birthday btw!! Hopefully, your body will catch up in time! Even if it doesn't though, it's ok... the weight will come off. No doubt, soon, you'll have a big drop.

I made up a new personal expression the other day, because my loss has been really slow for a few weeks, then this week I dropped about 6 lbs out of the blue!! So my expression is: "Sometimes I stall and sometimes I fall!" I like it better when my weight falls off of course, but I'll happily take the drops when they come.

95.5 lbs in 9 months is amazing! You have loads to celebrate this year. I'll be cheersing you (with my water!). :) I'm still hoping your body catches up btw!! ;)

Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. Choose happy.

I love that saying!

Also, with 11 days anything can happen! Just keep doing what you are doing! Worst case just look that within that year you still lost a whole lot of weight! I will keep my fingers crossed for you to meet your goal though!

You're doing great, Leann! You're within 5 Lbs of your goal; I think that's a big win. It's impossible to pick a number and date goal and hit it exactly; to be within 5 Lbs is totally awesome, and a big win.
