I am with Humber and this is how it went for me...
1. Arrive at Pre-Surgical Area and Register, they said to be 15 minutes early as the time they give you is actually the time that you should see the nurse.
2. See the Nurse and do an ECG, blood pressure take weight and height...go through your medical history
3. Give Blood
4. See the Anesthesiologist who talks about your medical history as well as what they will need to give you in terms of meds.
This all took me 3.5 hours, the length of time was mostly due to waiting in between.
All the best to you!
OMG Jenn, do you have your surgery date??
I do!!!! Just got it Friday! I start Optifast Feb.5 and surgery is February the 19, 2019! I am so excited! I had no words I can't believe it's actually happening & the surgeon i spoke with was so nice and said "Get Ready Your life is about to change completely"!!!
Hi Melly! Yes...I'm now 5 days post op and on the bench
I also had to see the Pharmacist and go over all my meds. I had bring them and we went through them all and I was told what I could bring and what to leave at home on surgery day. I was also told what I could have that morning.
