Eugene fun!!

  I had a really great time at Kim's today.   So glad to see old (but smaller) faces and many  new ones.  Food was too good.  I am still full!!   Thanks Kim for the use of you home again.   Your puppy is so cute.  I will try to put my pictures  up on my profile this weekend, both from this get  together and the ones when we first met in  January, I think.  Hope to see you all again soon.   Dancing Judge Kim---hang in there, we are all with  you, thinking about and praying for you.   Take care of yourself.  Julia

I agree - that was so fun today!  So many of us there, and everyone has changed so much.  It was nice to meet the new folks too, especially those who are waiting to have surgery.  Such good high protein snacks too.  And, a beautiful day for it.  We're coming into the holiday stretch here, so it may be difficult to get together, but I think it would be really fun to do it. Hi everyone. I really had a nice time today. It was fun meeting the people who I see on line all the time and hearing everyones story AND getting answers to mine. You all are so supportive that is so nice.

I had a great time too.  I really enjoyed myself. Thank you to Kim for hosting AND pulling out that beautiful winter coat out of your closet and giving it to me!!!  What a blessing.  hehe I will have to take a picture of itand put it on my profile for you all to see!!  Someone said that we need to invite more "PRE-OP" people to our meetings so we can get rid of some of these nice clothes. I scored 3 nice shirts....a sage green cotton one that especially like that has about 30 tiny little buttons down the front.  A really nice black and white zip up dress jacket.  And of course the faux white fur coat Kim gave me! Kim gave me the recipe for the no bake splenda peanut butter chocolate cookies.  Those were yummy.  Thanks to Kim's husband and son for taking pictures.  I wish I would have taken one of the darling little ****zu Puppy!(spelling? hehe) I put a few pictures, including a group one, on my photo area on my profile page. It was really great to see everyone.  Our faces are getting smaller - I think we all need new pictures to post!  Thank you Kim for hosting this for us.  Someday (and I hope it is soon) when I move to Lane County I will host these events too.  I don't think many of you would want to drive three hours South to Cave Junction!  If you do, we'd have to have a slumber party for sure (that's a thought). I'm glad everyone had such fun.  It was great to see everyone again as I have not seen most of you in several months now.  There were many new faces too and that was great!!  I absolutely LOVED those cheesecake fluffs that were brought.  I'm glad the recipe was left behind because I'll be making them for sure!  Gizmo definitely loved all the attention he was paid by everyone.  As soon as the house was empty, he was asleep for SEVERAL hours straight.  lol

EDIT:  Since everyone loved Gizmo so much, I changed my avatar to his picture. 

 

Sorry I couldn't come to the get together on Saturday!!! I wanted to try to come, but I had to write a 3,000 word paper for my Graduate degree program by midnight on saturday. I would have loved to meet everyone. I could have used some of those clothes you have all shrunk out of too!!! I am wearing @ a 22 or 2x right now. Oh well guess I will just have to keep hitting the sales at Fashion Bug for now. LOL There wasn't much I felt cute in at size 30/32 seven months ago!! Hopefully next time you all have a get together I will be able to meet you!!!! Please keep me updated and on the e-mail list. Thanks, Christina
