?s about VSG in PA

I don't see a lot of VSGers on the PA board - is there anyone out there who has has this proceudre that would be willing to share thier expirence?

I live in NY, but I am a Philly girl.  My experience with my VSG has been AMAZING so far- please feel free to ask any question at all- I am an open book.  I would also suggest you check out the VSG board if you haven't done so yet.  It is a very active and welcoming board, and a wealth of info about the sleeve.  Good luck to you!

I'm here!   There aren't many of us, and there aren't may docs that do the VSG in PA.  Each person's experience is different- what are you thinking about? Who's your doc?

I am a VSG revision gal...had to have an emergency band removal 7 weeks ago and revised....I did not want to gain back the 212 lbs I have lost....
I am kind of new to VSG but so far ok......have had some digestional issues but not related to surgery......also had appendicitis...so I am the lucky duck...LOL
Still healing but i am sure all will be good

victoria3 - I have not chosen a doc yet - I have attended the info sessions at Main Line Baratric Center and had a meeting with Dr - I have also attended the info session for Abington.  When I talked to the Dr, VSG does not seem to be covered under BCBS and I am a little worried about going to self pay - what does this really mean as far as after care - that type if thing.

Fawn M. - I have checked out the VSG board - it is kind of amazing the progress that people have made there
