Whew! Well, it's 3:30 p.m. and I'm just now checking in.
Left the house early today to get to Barix for my 9 month checkup with Dr. P. I am currently down 92 lbs. from my highest weight, and from surgery date down 71% of my excess weight. She says that things look great. All the lab numbers are where they should be. And while I do want to lose a bit more weight (10-15 lbs. would be good, 20 lbs. would be terrific if I EVER hit that point, and anything in the 25 lb. range would be a miracle!), I am pretty ok with my progress. She said she likes my attitude, too.
So, left Barix and grabbed a light lunch. Drove in to work to put out a few fires here, since I am on the road for the next week. (Don't worry, I will have internet access so I can find all of you!)
Tonight I am going to a surprise baby shower for a friend who just adopted a little boy. Should be a great party and a wonderful celebration for her! Last night I had a field day in Barnes & Noble buying books for her baby gift.
