Tuesday roll Call

Tell Siehara that my daughter did not start running 5Ks till ninth grade, when she ran cross country in high school.  We are all proud of her.

We are doing great - going home today! Can't wait to have Amelia home with us. She can't wait to meet all of you either.

Today's plan isn't fancy lol take Amelia home and do whatever she tells me! Which isn't much, she is an angel - so good. Only fusses when she needs to be changed, wants to eat or really isn't happy. She doesn't care who is holding her - just so laid back and easy going. She is nursing like a champ.

I am doing OK. Working on getting my iron back up. At my last pregnancy lab draw it was 14, yesterday morning it was 6.8. Everyone is baffled that I am still feeling OK.

Well enjoy your day all! I hear that it is going to be hot and humid out so we'll be louging in the house with the AC on showing Amelia all the new things there are to experience. That and her "fur brother and sister" can't wait to meet her.

Daddy is so proud - all he wants to do is hold her, so anyone who is going to come visit us should come while Chris is at work! lol Luckily he has to give her to me at meal time

OK enough rambling about my little girl. I will post pics later today for those of you not on FB.

Good morning, Nicole and PA!

I'm heading to the lab in a few minutes to get my bloodwork done for 1 year followup with Dr P.  It's a little early, but we're going to be away for a week and I want to be sure she gets the labs by the time of my appointment.  Then I'll come home and get on the treadmill.

I need to call the doctor this morning.  Had a consult with her last week, and she wanted to talk to another doc and an anesthesiologist about my case before scheduling surgery.  (She was a little freaked out that I had an aneurysm years ago and wants to be sure surgery is safe.)  I haven't heard a word from her, and I really want to get this procedure scheduled.  I've been putting off starting school and serious job hunting so I won't have to worry about recovery time, but I can't put those off indefinitely.

I totally understand about wanting to schedule  upcoming surgery.  I'm kinda in the same boat again.  I'm scheduled to go under anesthesia again on June 9th... this time for my left shoulder.  So I completely understand your frustration about wanting to get things started and hitting a wall.

Today is another 12 hour day. Census work, Daycare and cleaning. Actually managed to get my lazy roommate to go on a walk with me last night and did 3 miles. He was shocked he finished it, but promised me we'd do it again tonight!!

Its good to see you on here.  I cant remember if I told you about not being able to make it to the picnic you are scheduling for June.  Unfortunately I will be on vacation that week.  I look forward to making it to the next one.  Thanks for your initiative!!!!
