You need to get educated when it comes to politics instead of just shooting off your mouth and saying things that are ridiculous. Check all your facts then make a coment. Dont speak about things you dont know about. You sound like a spoiled child who didn't get their way.

And that attitude is, in my opinion, what separates the Democrats from the Republicans. The Democrats seek to bridge the divides between all people of this wonderful country while the Republicans strive to create bigger divides between all the people of this country. I trust God is watching over the US - as we are going to need his intervention over the next 4 years. Anne

I totally agree with you Erin. But I am NOT peeling off my bumper stickers quite yet - I want to let people know I did not vote for this president and in 2 years when things are even worse - with our economy and the war - then who will the Republicans blame???How long can they blame Clinton before they accept responsbility for our troubles... I am so scared for my sons - I will leave for Canada with them before I will allow them to be drafted and sent to fight a war that has cost us too many innocent lives because of lies and deceit. Anne

I live in Texas - Texas as a whole voted for Bush - but my city - Austin knew where to cast it's vote. Canada looks better and better to me each day. (And don't bother flaming me by saying I should move there...) Anne

You said it so much better than I could Kathy! I agree - it's gloating like this that causes a LOT of hard feelings - just like it did in the last election - even though Bush had lost the popular vote, those who were glad he won just rubbed it in the faces of Gore supporters that he got in anyway. People wonder why this country is so sharply divided? Mike - I wouldn't bother to celebrate much as he really didn't win by a very large margin. Had it been a landslide, then you could preen a little bit. Don't forget too - now the Republicans will have NO ONE else to blame when problems come up - as they hold the reigns of power. I worry big time when one party has so much control. Watch and wait - and you will see eventually.

Topic: RE: TERROR - NY Style - Something to think about
Since America has gone in to "liberate" Iraq, the Shiite and Suni muslims have banded together against US forces. That's the first time in over a thousand years they've been willing to work together on a common cause. Before 9/11 and the war in Iraq we had al Queda and a number of other terrorists groups to contend with (don't forget 9 of the 14 terrorists on 9/11 were from Saudi, no word about their punishment). Now however we have millions of Iraqis just waiting for their chance to die to defeat the American invasion. Seems to me like we just jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire. The rest of the world knows Bush used 9/11 as an excuse to invade Iraq...how come so many Americans refuse to open their eyes and see the truth? Kelle

Topic: RE: Really scarey.
In 2000, Condoleza Rice and Colin Powell both stated that Iraq did not pose a threat to America because Sadam did not have access to WMD nor did he have any. Funny how that changed after 9/11. And as far as there being a connection between Iraq and Al Queda.....that was as straight up a lie as I've ever heard. Next thing you know Bush will be trying to convince us that the sky is really green. That is, if he knows all his colors....
