Which sounds fine but I dont really understand when to take the clomid and when to do the deed . And do you ladies have any ideas on other things I can try. I also checked to see what my BMI I think thats what it is called and mine is 29 I think thats good. but Im trying to get pregant and kinda need some other options I dont wanna take a bunch of pills if i can try not too. low carbing helps. i was doing atkins when i got pregnant. i was told it would be highly unlikely for me to ever have children on my own. i was also taking topamax. it's used for migraines and a mood stabilizer. my best friend got pregnant while taking it too and as i was looking up stuff about it i found about a hundred other women who had surprise pregnancies while taking topamax. i know you said u dont wanna take a bunch of medicines. just thought i'd offer my experience. you know, as soon as you plan a vacation, plan to remodel the house, someone loses a job, you'll get pregnant! life is what happens when you're making other plans.. focus completely and throw your heart into something else, painting, writing, working out.  i think that's why families who adopt often get pregnant right after their adoption is finalized, they're no longer obsessing about getting pregnant! hope i didnt upset you. best wishes on that little baby you'll have.  -Sarah oh, i have pcos too, i didnt mention that.

Hi Cassandra!  Good luck with your Clomid!  What dosage is your doc starting you on?  Typically you'll start out at 50mg on CD 3-7, it helps to also take your bbt (basal body temp) using a basal body thermometer to track your temps so that you know if/when you're ovulating.  If you have normal 28ish day cycles you can expect to ovulate at around CD (cycle day) 14.  When I got pregnant (and I have PCOS too) I got pregnant around CD21 as I had a longer cycle (averaging 36 days).  If you have questions about tracking your temps let me know and I'll be happy to answer them.  Also a great bbt tracking website is www.fertilityfriend.com .  Good luck! Kristy
