I thought I was all alone in this with the PCOS. It is nice to see that I am not and that others have had success loseing weight and getting pregnant. Thanks for letting me know it can be done.

Indeed it can be done!  I also have PCOS and truely thought that I'd never be a mom...well...at 16 months post op I got pregnant and gave birth to a beautiful little girl just days before my 2 year surgiversary.  Don't give up...you can loose weight & you can get pregnant! Kristy

My specialist said that if I wanted to get pregnant I would have to have weight loss sugery. I already have a daughter...she is my miracle baby. She was born prematurely weighing 3lbs 1 oz. So my surgery is for me not to have a baby. But I have seen alot of stories and my doctor told me that after the surgery most people become fertile and can have a healthy happy baby which would be impossible or difficult at our current weight. It was so surprising to me that my weight could damage my fertility and impact my hormones to the point of having a syndrome. I am looking forward to my surgery so much to help reverse the damage I have done. Good luck with everything and let us know how you are doing! Christal/dionysus_star
