Hysterectomy/PCOS ???

I think I may have PCOS--I fit ALOT of the symptoms. 3 weeks ago I had a partial hysterectomy, they left my ovaries. So, my question, do you guys think I will be getting ANY relief from PCOS (IF I have it) from the partial hysterectomy or if it would've been a TOTAL procedure? Thanks for your time and God bless. Nope no relief... sorry. PCOS is more than menstrual related. I had a hysterectomy December of 2004 and aside from relief of my constant period (it started in 2003 and ended the day of my hysterectomy), I have seen no relief in the hair, insulin resistance, levels of testosterone etc. After I lose my excess weight I really do hope to see a change.
