Topic: Rockland MD
I am having surgary with Dr Denis at (was supose to be Rockland MD) but now has changed to Sacre Coeur because the Gouverment retracted thier contract with Rockland MD :(
Its been kinda rough since then. I keep hearing things in the papers that the gouverment is suing Rockland.. and keep seeing Dr Denis doing all these Media projects, makes me think that this waiting period is going to be even moooore drawn out :(
I try to call his secretary (Martine) and the answering machine says something to the tune of """If you are calling about your surgary date.. dont call us we'll call you.""" I find the whole thing so heartless.. I mean I have to let my employer know approxamantly when I will need to be OFF for what.. 2 weeks.
sorry I needed a place to vent.
bascally the anticipation is KILLING ME!! I hate waiting HATE HATE HATE IT!!!
I am now looking and being operated in what they told me once was June.. now they are saying.. at least 2 years from the orignal date i saw the dr which was October 2010.. so October 2012.. thats not June.. I haven't taken vacation in 2 years, I am trying to save up as much vacation time to take 4 weeks off after.

Met with surgeon. I have chosen the VSG. No date yet but first week of May is possible. I need a filter put in because I'm prone to blood clots; on coumadin for life(hoping maybe the surgery will affect this issue) better circulation. Thanks for all the support.

Heard recently through the grapevine that wait times aren't too bad at the Royal Victoria Hospital. Less than 2 years it seems.

Just an update. Got a call from the RVH to meet my surgeon on thursday March 22nd. Now I have butterflies and the whole zoo in my tummy.

I haven't had surgery yet. I am waiting for "the call" very impatiently the suspense is killing me!!!!! Hopefully by June if nothin else drastic happens with rockland md.
Meanwile I have been searching wls proteins to eat after to try my best to stock up on high protien items
- great yougart (16g) you can add protine powder to it blend it in the blender as a base
You can add soya milk and drink it as a shake
You can freeze it for a cool snack this summer
Or buy a ice cream maker yumyum!!!
I bought a "lap top lunches" lunch box. Its a super
Greay way to control portion sizes And for me will be handy to bring to my I laws when we go for dinner cause I can't eat what they do :). Google laptop lunches you can buy the box at chapters and the website has tons if health chois recipes!!!
Another favorite is theworldaccordingtoeggface.com great great great blog about wls and tons of recipes!!!
