First time quilter

Hello all, I started taking a quilting class this week and so far I just love it. I was hoping my grandma would be around long enough to show me how but that wasn't to be, she pasted on about a month ago. So this is the best I can do to keep the quilting going on in the family. I did find out that my machine is really really old, about 25-30 years old but it works and that's all that matters. If you have any advise I'd love to hear it.

Hi Debi , My name is jan maatje and I started quilting about 7 months ago and I just love it. I have the Bernina machine and the different stitiches I am still getting use to. I have a great circle of quilting friends already and can't wait to get to my Monday night classes. We are just finishing the crazy quilt. Hi Quilting is a very satisfying hobby. Unfortunately I'm at the point where I have more started than I can finish. If you enjoy doing simple quilts there is always a need for them for ill children. Check out www.projectlinus.org Joanne
