Hello from an Arkansas RN

Ive been an RN for 11yrs now. Although Im not working anymore, I keep up my license and CEU's. Im hoping to get back into Nursing after Gastric Bypass. Its my ultimate goal, not sure if it attainable, but I'm going to shoot for it.. Have a great week. Lisa

Hi Meg...thanks... Yes I really do miss Nursing....alot! I havent been approved yet...but I really dont think it will be a problem. Im on Medicare and its definetly a medically necessary procedure. I have my first cosult with the doctor and staff on Mar 4...so I will find out more then. Im really excited about getting it all started and getting the surgery...im not real patient..so the waiting game is going to be hard on me...but Im not giving up...in it for the long haul Lisa

Good luck on getting your approval for WLS. I'm working on it myself. And don't worry about being able to get back into nursing, a license and a pulse is about all you need nowadays, LOL.
