Haven't eaten in 4 days

I am 4 1/2 months out, and have lost 71 lbs, so I am really not complaining, but I have not been able to eat for 4 days now. No appetite really and when I am hungry I cannot find anything to satisfy me. I am getting protein in with drinks, that's not a problem for me. But when I start to eat, I get a heaviness in my stomach, and sickish. I have even thrown up a couple of times. I have not done that for weeks. I was going along fine until recently. Anyone else experience this? I have not been able to eat meat yet, the most solid thing I have is cereal and tossed salad. I am getting a little concerned. Thanks for any input!

best possible input would be to see your doctor or call them on the phone to advise them what is going on.

Um, yeah...you need to talk to your surgeon. You should be able to have more solid foods than cereal and tossed salad at this point. I do also struggle with actually eating food. There's plenty of days where it's just easier to drink my meals, so I won't fault you for that. But, if the reason you're depending on the shakes so much is because your pouch doesn't accept food well at 4.5 months out, you need to have a discussion with your surgeon.
