After released from Hospt question
Kenneth;
It depends. If you've got small kids at home with you, I'd have someone there at all times. If you don't, then you really don't need anyone there with you all the time. As long as you have someone to help you when something over 10-15 lbs. needs to be lifted (the trash for instance), you'll be fine.
Blessings,
Jennifer

I had someone at my house for a week but I really didn't need them. I was pretty self-seficient. Then again, I don't have small children to take care of, just a dog who seemed to be very sensitive that I was in some pain and was really good
It was nice though just knowing that someone was around just in case.
My father stayed with me for a couple of weeks. I didn't so much need the help to take care of myself, but the help with the household stuff like laundry and lawn mowing was necessary. Even more so, it was invaluable to have someone around for the company. If you have some people that can spare the time, take it! But if not, you'll be fine to handle most things on your own.
I live alone... I would have been fine without anybody at the house post-op. Only issue was surgeon said I could drive 3-4 days after being released and I couldnt drive if I was still on the pain meds. I got out of the hospital on Thursday and had my Dad there until Sunday. Only thing I really needed him for was driving me around town and carrying stuff upstairs
ooo and I also got him to vacuum!!!
