I just wanted to share with everyone that I found out that I was approved for RNY today!!! I am sooo excited! I am nervous too.... I know aspects of my life are going to change drastically, both in a good way and a challenging way. I want so much to feel comfortable in my own skin again, something I have not felt in a looong time. The only people who know are my dear hubby(extremely supportive) , my mom (who is very scared and apprehensive for me to have this done), and my step-dad(supports my decision). So this website has meant a lot to me in my pre-op journey as I know it will post-op. I visit this site frequently for answers to questions I may have, inspiration and now for support in my journey. I now just need the official date now...which I will know within the week!! Woo Hoo! Thanks for listening (reading)!
