Wowza Moment

I finally had to give up my size 26/28 sweat pants because they were too big and went to Lame Giant (aka Lane Bryant) today for some replacements. I wear all kinds of sizes from 18-26 right now depending on the garment and if it's a top, bottom or skirt, stretchy or jean. I'm sure you all totally understand that. 60 pounds down and I am still in the same bras (except hooked on the tightest hook but the cup size ain't changing, go figure). Anyway, I digress.... I picked out a few things and ended up with...are you ready for this.. SIZE 14/16 CAPRI SWEAT PANTS, JACKET AND TANK TOP. SIZE 14/16!!!! and it was all I could do not to scream it out loud until we got back into the car. Mind you, the size 22 clam digger jeans in no stretch cotton were tight but wearable, lol, and the size 18 hippie zip up skirt wouldn't go over my butt!! I don't care, I have 3 things with a 14/16 label (and I tried on the same in 18/20 and they were baggier, so I am satisfied, lol). Maybe I'll just wear them inside out for a while so the label shows, hahaha!! Just call me Shr-inky!!

Hey there Shrink a dink! Congrats!!! Just keep the price tag on them like other peeps do...it's all the new rave. You just can't wash them. Could be a problem as they are sweat pants! I literally laughed out loud at the "Lame Giant" expression. Never heard that one. My Bro in law said it was no mistake they name it what they did...with LB being the abbreviation for pound.

Hey, Shrinky! That's hilarious. I would buy anything that fit me in that size. I have heard expensive department stores' clothes run large, because people will buy more when they think they are wearing a smaller size than they usually wear; if that makes sense. I believe it. Sally
