My rant for the day came late....but its still grates my nerves. It's 3 o'clock in the afternoon When a lady who just over a month ago I redesigned her walk in closet which is bigger than my living room. Calls me to wanting me to come over and help her find whatever she couldn't. But of courseshe doesn't come out and ask that until after I tell her where I am at in my seeking of WLS. No sooner did I tell her that I have an appt for Wednesday to get my surgery date she asks me to cancel it and reschedule so I could come over and help her....She's busy tomorrow getting her nails done and going out to lunch...  I believe I just lost a customer...

It seems to be open-season on hubbies in the daily rant today, so I'll throw mine into the ring. Remember the doctor's appointment I fought tooth-and-nail to get for my daughter?  Well, he had to take her because I was working.  All he had to do was get the stinkin' physical form filled out, complete with her shot record.  I told him 3 times this morning to ask them to photocopy her shot record from her file and staple it to the physical form.  Do you think this simpleton could handle that?  NOOOOOO!!!!!!!  I get home, look at the form, and NADA.  They won't let her into camp without it, so now I have to call my favorite receptionist tomorrow and beg for it.

Well, this is my rant from yesterday (Sunday); I never did get here to post last night - was up to 1:00 am doing work. Anyway, I am here at a conference at Stanford (Univ) in California.  We have a project where we have to work on teams, with limited times to meet each day.  I told my team the day before that I needed to leave by 5:00 pm (our meeting was supposed to start at 3:45 pm) because I had an appointment.  (Actually I was going to have coffee for Terri and almost by her flowers for her pending surgery, which she's allergic to - the flowers, not the surgery.) My team members meandered to the meeting place then spent the next 20 minutes looking at the books for sale outside.  They have been very gracious otherwise, but I was really annoyed because I gave them advanced warning of my appointment.  Anyway, we got done by 5:20 pm, fortunately Terri was enjoying her coffee (latte?) waiting for me, and we spent some great time together.
