Icky Sticky Surgical Tape....
Funny you should ask. I just got out of the hospital Monday, and both visits to the hospital I wore a red bracelet saying "sensitive to adhesive." Well, I guess they either can't read or can't avoid all tape, 'cause I got tracks of bright red adhesive marks all over my torso, arms, etc., some that were even scabbing over. I thought if they scar, I'll have to turn them into tattoos. Anyway, one of the ICU nurses gave me little packets (like wet-wipes come in at restaurants) of something called adhesive tape remover pad. I just happen to have one in my pocket because in the shower this morning I noticed some more I had missed(!). Anyway, she said she thought you could get them at a lot of pharmacies or Target, maybe just ask. The brand I have is PDI, but it may be a hospital brand only. I had tried baby oil, but even that wasn't helping too much.
Good luck,
Sally
Baby oil works wonders. Just go gently, rubbing in circles.

finger nail polish remover.....oil didn't work for me - it just moved it all around but didn't get it off. it's non toxic so i figured it wouldn't hurt. it stung a little bit but sure didn't hurt & worked magiccccccccccccc!
If the baby oil doesn't work, and it really bothers you definitely get some adhesive tape remover. They sell it at most pharmacy's, you could probably get a good deal on ebay or something. I had a wound nurse give me some, and it works wonders! It's also great when first taking off the tape, so your skin doesn't get ripped up as much.
