We have a regular on the DS board who is going through a rough time. Here are the brief details and a link to the thread about her: "I really need your help guys!  You all know about the complications Lyndia has been experiencing with her revision to DS, but there is so many other things happening in her life right now.  One week before her DS, her husband was laid off from his job.  To further complicate the situation, Lyndia was laid off from her job the same day as her 2nd surgery on October 10th.  Currently, the only money they have coming in is from her husband's part time evening job, and it just isn't enough.  With the holiday season coming, I want to do what I can to help out. "(she has a 4 year old son and was just released from the hospital again yesterday after being admitted with a high fever) http://tinyurl.com/2287v3 If you PayPal Lori a donation, ask her to post on the above thread or pm me and I will be your Renegade b*tch. Of course, you are also free and most welcome to contribute without humiliating me. Let me start by saying, you've been more than generous with your donations and gifts....but girl, this takes the cake!  You're so funny!   Thanks for keeping the link alive and trying to help Lyndia out as much as possible!  Anyone that is able to help us out, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.  I get teary-eyed everytime I check my Paypal account and see more money there from all of our OH family.  This has been a life-changing experience for me, and I'm hoping it will affect Lyndia and her family the same way!

At this point PK, I'd do anything for my friend Lyndia!  OOhh, for the right price, maybe I could negotiate a truce between the RNY and the DS boards....eh, who am I kidding!  I don't have that much pull to do the impossible!  Lol!  (Really meant in a joking way!!)

That would be an entire month of newbies perhaps getting Roux-en-Y without knowing there was such a surgery as DS!  I dunno why you'd want that, but I'll see YOUR offer and raise it by 20, too!
