Owwwwwwww I thought something was really wrong :(

So last night I stayed up chatty chatting in here with the gaggle of people, and after I wasnt tired and started reading. Well I'm not the type to put a book down til I'm done with it so I was up til around 2:30. As I was going to bed I noticed pain.. no wait PAIN in my abdomen, just blow my ribs. I couldn't figure out what it was - I hadn't eaten anything, I actually had a shake for dinner because I didn't feel like eating at all. All those fun thoughts went through my head "is it too late to get a leak?" "is it an obstruction?" "omg did i break something?" Ahhh! Well I laid down and was able to get to sleep (sorta, the man had a restless night and woke me up bout 400 times) and this morning when I got up I still hurt. Now it hurt to breathe! Well I was talking myself into picking up the phone to call my surgeon when all of a sudden I started gassing up the place and i mean woooooooooooooooooooooooohooooooooo gassin up the place. Guess what? No more pain. I thought I jinxed myself because I just sat here last night tellin Ivy I've had no complications and whammo a big ouchie lol.  Boy would I have been embarrased to call the doc to find out it was a fart stuck. Now I can't figure out what caused the gas but oh well at least it wasn't a serious problem :)

OMG, Lex ... TOO friggin' funny!  Oh what gas can do to us! 

LOL you shoulda seen the look on my son's face when it decided to come out. He was on the other computer in here and his eyes got all big and he said "OH MY GOD MOM!"

The gas x disolvable strips work wonders in these situations.  I had this bad pain the other day too... two strips took care of it in no time at all.  Love those things.  Glad it wasn't anything serious :)

Ithink you're right.  GasX  is great.  I take 2 at one time.  Works wonders!

LMFAO Lexi....  Im sorry you were in so much pain... and hope to God that it dont come back.  However, if it should have a sit on the toilet and wait to blow the water. ROFLMAO, only reason I can laugh so hard at this is because I went through this about 2 weeks ago.... I thought I was DYING!  OMG, pain.... never like ever before.   I sat and pondered what my hubby will do with my body while I sweated profusely on the toilet... hoping ... waiting...  when DH comes in and says... Hey I bet you gotta fart....  I gave that devil stare and then.... WHOOOPPP~~~~  splash down, lol~!!!! Im glad you feel better ... thanks for the laugh! ~Lisa

LOL now its the other end, im burpin like I just ate at a truck stop. More room out than in right? LOL Amazing the stupid things that get me to gigglin these days ;)
