Can we take these or are they NSAIDS?

Midol is an NSAID. Pamprin is basically Tylenol with a diuretic.  Cathie

Midol is not an NSAID, it has acetimitophen which is what is in tylenol, there is only one form of Midol that has ibuprofen and it is the cramps and body aches.  I take Midol every month and could not live without it.

The Midol Menstrual complete is the one I carry but I have found one even better that is Midol w/headache and I can't find another bottle again.

It is safe to take. Here is the link go read for yourself: http://www.midol.com/

My doc specifically directs us to avoid diuretics at all costs, to avoid the risk of dehydration.  Do you find that you have to increase your fluid intake when you're taking this?  Does your doc have a different view of this sort of thing?  I'd love to have all of the benefits of Midol, but have not tried it because of his instructions.  If other docs have other views, I'd reconsider.

My doctor says I am perfectly fine taking them and that it is a mild diruretic and totally safe, and as he says I only take it for a couple of days when my body is retaining fluids so I can't get dehyrated at that time.  He has been letting me take them since 6 months out, and THANK GOD, cause I need them for about 3 days and then done!
