I feel VERY satisfied....I could probably get away with being fine with one....but I like the 8 gms of protein too.

Just a suggestion, but how about upping the protein a bit by having just one waffle and some cottage cheese or yogurt? It doesn't seem like a lot of protein (to me) for the calories/carbs.

I could eat two, I eat two carb quick pancakes when I have them.  I'm thinking we are about the same out for surgery, maybe me a little more.  I would prefer to have a two, but would probably only eat one and a scrambled egg white for the extra protein. I'm not sure how big they are.

If you feel you shouldn't eat it, don't. That voice inside you is there for a reason. Learn to listen to it.

Kashi waffles are a very high carb choice, healthful or not-- and as someone still early out-- that space might be better used for higher protein foods:

2 Kashi Waffles=
170 calories
3g fat
33g carbs
6g fiber
8g protein

That's about 2/3 of a day's carbs in one sitting-- even with the fiber considered. Maybe you should try one and some lean ham, or jerky, or turkey sausage, or a scrambled egg beater or  sumpin'.

Yeah I'd say thats a bit too much carbs in one sitting for someone a few months out.  There will be a time/place for more carbs in the future.

I love kashi waffles and I eat one in the morning with a bit of spray butter on the way to work.  my pouch doesn't particularly care for protein-rich foods that early so I have to start out with a carb and eat protein dense the rest of the day.

I'm at 8 months and I have a struggle with getting my whole *one* waffle in.  I'd probably just do the one.. It's not like you're hungry right now anyways.   I also eat a lot of cheese sticks too.  Maybe that is another option if you are looking for something portable.

I agree with everyone....one waffle and a protein......hard boiled eggs are one of my favorite portable foods.  I boil 5 at a time and store them in the fridge.  I either mash one up with spray butter, salt and pepper...or i eat it whole witha little salt and pepper sprinkled on.  I also love cottage cheese (pineapple flavored) spread on a waffle.....good luck!  And I'm a big fan of listening to your "inner voice". It will NEVER stear you wrong. My eight year old, Emma, already knows about her "little voice".  Good luck my friend!
