No, they have to do a little scar revision on my chest plastics, that's all. I have what looks like "carpet wrinkles"-- no big deal, in office, takes an hour. I expected it-- he moved a lotta mass, now we have to fine-tune it.

I watered the plants and pulled up another whole bag of mushrooms that sprouted up overnight. I don't know where they are coming from but they sprout and suddenly they are the size of baseballs. I even saw a small toad living under one of the mushrooms. I am sure he can find other shelter.

At your stage in the game I used 1/2 a flatout to make a pizza. They're pretty good, #s wise, although I've found LaTortilla Factory's whole wheat low carb tortillas are (marginally) even better fiber-wise, so I have mostly switched! (I'm all about fiber these days. With my intestines, I have to be!) The tortillas toast up crisper for pizza, which I like-- the wraps actually can catch fire in a toaster oven so be careful! Flip side is the wraps are heartier, denser, more filling. I'm not big on bread so I tend to do better with less of it.

Today is my last day as a free woman-- I'll be a little scarcer around here for the next 10 months-- work calls! I'm celebrating my last day off by taking a long walk. We don't actually see students 'til Monday so I can ease in slowly-- tomorrow and Thursday nights I have to unpack all the supplies, which as an Art Teacher is a daunting task when you're not supposed to use your arms. Oh well, let's hope they don't fall off! At least it should be relatively cool, which is AWESOME.(My classroom was 93 degrees all last week-- pretty typical, unfortunately and makes my edema ridiculously painful.)
Eats-- I am eating up stuff, mostly. I'm a creature of habit-- I go through phases, wear 'em out, do something else.

I'm a tad over today-- ah well-- end of summer. I'll also be burning 400 more calories than I can consume-- this is why I leave the wiggle room! I am very comfortable with my intake these days-- don't feel deprived, don't get blood sugar problems, eat pretty much all day. I hope I can keep this up and still stay where I need to be-- the science says I can-- we'll have to see how it bears out!
Also, found out that chewing gum burns about 11 calories an hour. So a piece of sf gum that's 5 cals isn't that big a deal: I just gotta stick to it for an hour! ;)

92 lbs GONE forever!

100 lbs left to go...

Blog: Jenisphere.com Random musings and family funnies
B: Crazy protein shake (4 oz iced coffee, 4 oz unsweetened soy milk, 1 scoop Inspire Caramel Latte, 1/2 scoop Isopure vanilla, ice) This ended up being 200 calories and 46 grams of protein!
S: 100 cal pack of natural almonds
L: Southwest chargrilled salad (though the Chick Fil A is some express version -- they might not have this!)
D: Flatout pizza (1/2 Flatout wrap, 1/4 cup pizza sauce, 1/4 cup light mozzarella, 1 serving turkey pepperoni)
S: Chocolate mint Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich
For the day, that puts me at 920 calories, 70 g carbs (20g fiber), and 101 g protein. Since my cals are a little bit low, I might add in an additional snack at some point. Maybe some dry roasted edamame or some nut butter. Maybe half an apple with almond butter.
Nik, I'm also interested to hear how Zumba goes. It sounds like fun! I'm starting personal training tomorrow, and I'd eventually like to add in some classes since I enjoy those more than straight cardio.
Got a great workout in last night, think I'll try it again tonight.
1) cinnamon low carb bread ( not good numbers, but it tasted really awesome!)
2)coffe & cream
3) another piece of the cinnamon bread
4) couple of bites of spaghetti and salad. (My tummy still doesn't like noodles! ughh!)
5) protein tea
6) arnold thin pizza
7) protein shake or smoothie of some kind
Have a great day!
