Yeah, i am just not losing enough. BAH HA HA!

No, they have to do a little scar revision on my chest plastics, that's all. I have what looks like "carpet wrinkles"-- no big deal, in office, takes an hour. I expected it-- he moved a lotta mass, now we have to fine-tune it.

I watered the plants and pulled up another whole bag of mushrooms that sprouted up overnight.  I don't know where they are coming from but they sprout and suddenly they are the size of  baseballs.  I even saw a small toad living under one of the mushrooms.  I am sure he can find other shelter.

At your stage in the game I used 1/2 a flatout to make a pizza. They're pretty good, #s wise, although I've found LaTortilla Factory's whole wheat low carb tortillas are (marginally) even better fiber-wise, so I have mostly switched! (I'm all about fiber these days. With my intestines, I have to be!) The tortillas toast up crisper for pizza, which I like-- the wraps actually can catch fire in a toaster oven so be careful! Flip side is the wraps are heartier, denser, more filling. I'm not big on bread so I tend to do better with less of it.

Stats!
                                                            Cals  Fat    Carbs   Protein

 La Tortilla Factory Tortilla          80     3.0     19*     8.0
Fiber: 14g     *Net carbs=5

Light Flatout Sundried Wrap     90     2.5     17*     9.0
Fiber: 9g       *Net carbs=8

Let me know if you think I can handle Zumba. My free night is 9/17 and I am afraid I will look like a dumb-ass--- parts of me still ain't up to speed. I can do a Jane Fonda 50 minute fat burner aerobics session-- but then, no one is watching me here-- I am a little slow to catch onto new routines. Tell me all about it, 'k? And what should I wear? (Homey can't do shorts-- yoga pants? Lycra capris? I kinda like to wear my swimsuit for support and lycra capris)

Today is my last day as a free woman-- I'll be a little scarcer around here for the next 10 months-- work calls!  I'm celebrating my last day off by taking a long walk. We don't actually see students 'til Monday so I can ease in slowly-- tomorrow and Thursday nights I have to unpack all the supplies, which as an Art Teacher is a daunting task when you're not supposed to use your arms. Oh well, let's hope they don't fall off! At least it should be relatively cool, which is AWESOME.(My classroom was 93 degrees all last week-- pretty typical, unfortunately and makes my edema ridiculously painful.)

Eats-- I am eating up stuff, mostly. I'm a creature of habit-- I go through phases, wear 'em out, do something else.

Pre B: Honey Vanilla Chai Latte
B: McCann's SF Oatmeal with fresh blueberries (and a ton of cinnamon/Splenda)
B2: Ham, egg and cheese QuikGriddle sammich
L: Turkey burger on toasted Arnold whole wheat thin with ff cheese, ketchup, mustard, onion
Packet of Fiber Gourmet Cheese Its
D: Asian Peanut Chicken (in micro bag) with water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, baby corn and
    mushrooms
D2: Tortilla pizza on fiber tortilla with muenster, mozz, spinach and roasted tomatoes, onion
S: 16 lil'  ham cheese and pickle roll ups
S: Pop rice with ff cream cheese and salsa
S: 30 oz chocolate protein frosty
S: 5 SF hard candies
S: Decaf chai latte

I'm a tad over today-- ah well-- end of summer. I'll also be burning 400 more calories than I can consume-- this is why I leave the wiggle room! I am very comfortable with my intake these days-- don't feel deprived, don't get blood sugar problems, eat pretty much all day. I hope I can keep this up and still stay where I need to be-- the science says I can-- we'll have to see how it bears out!

Also, found out that chewing gum burns about 11 calories an hour. So a piece of sf gum that's 5 cals isn't that big a deal: I just gotta stick to it for an hour! ;)

I knew I could feel your spirit propelling me as I was walking today. I did 3 miles which were SUPPOSED to be utilitarian (walking to the pediatricians office to get the girls shot records). I get all the way there and guess what? This is the ONLY day of the whole damn month the office opens at 1:30 p.m.! Loverly! So I went to the Gallery and drooled at the Starbucks stand (cuz I got like 65 cents in the bank****il Victoria's Secret opened and then tooled around there and the Coach store before walking back home. I wish I'd worn my pedometer. I actually logged a halfway decent amount of steps.

I have to leave for class in about an hour. Politics of Education. The reading was actually very interesting, and I'm looking forward to the class discussion. After class, I have about an hour and a half to kill on campus before a meeting. I have a bunch of reading to do for classes on Thursday, so I'll take that with me and possibly grab a salad from Chick Fil A in the student union. There will be pizza at the meeting, so my goal for tonight is just to say no!

B: Crazy protein shake (4 oz iced coffee, 4 oz unsweetened soy milk, 1 scoop Inspire Caramel Latte, 1/2 scoop Isopure vanilla, ice) This ended up being 200 calories and 46 grams of protein!
S: 100 cal pack of natural almonds
L: Southwest chargrilled salad (though the Chick Fil A is some express version -- they might not have this!)
D: Flatout pizza (1/2 Flatout wrap, 1/4 cup pizza sauce, 1/4 cup light mozzarella, 1 serving turkey pepperoni)
S: Chocolate mint Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich

For the day, that puts me at 920 calories, 70 g carbs (20g fiber), and 101 g protein. Since my cals are a little bit low, I might add in an additional snack at some point. Maybe some dry roasted edamame or some nut butter. Maybe half an apple with almond butter.

Nik, I'm also interested to hear how Zumba goes. It sounds like fun! I'm starting personal training tomorrow, and I'd eventually like to add in some classes since I enjoy those more than straight cardio.
