Went out with DH and MIL for breakfast before work. That was nice.

B:  2 egg whites w/ch cheese
      1 oz. ham
couple bites of DH's blueberry muffin
       coffee
S: string cheese (if I have room still full from breakfast)
L: chili
S: almonds
D: turkey meatballs w/ spaghetti sauce and tofu noodles ( I haven't tried these yet and I'm not sure I'll need them after the meatballs, but they are an option)
S: ?

Getting ready to go away camping for the weekend.  Can't wait, we are taking our motorcycles to Bentley's in Arundel.  I've never been to that part of Maine before, looking forward to riding the bikes down there and the weather is supposed to be great. I'm going to watch what I eat, but not log everything as I want to enjoy myself and feel "normal" for a few days.

But I know what I am supposed to eat and won't deviate from that other than probably a few ****tails over the weekend.  On Click's website they have a recipe for a "Clickatini" and I may try one of those for an after dinner "snack" with everyone by the campfire.  We'll see, I say that now but I'll probably chicken out!

I'm working from home today, have a presentation to develop, so I'm here to focus.  (It's just not that easy to do while I'm at the office).  I am already getting wind of it being a really bad day at the office - so I'm glad I'm not in the midst of that stressy situation - which would likely be a huge trigger for me!

The plan for the day -
B- Mudslide Protein Shake (Nik, has anyone told you your shakes rock lately?)
S - Cottage cheese and salsa
L - Turkey, crisp bread and tomato slices
S - Cheese Stick
D - Mexican Beef Stir Fry and low carb tortilla from TJ's
S - Click Frappe
  Day by Day.

How exciting - grad school!  I remember when I applied.  It's hard going back when we're "older" (older than school age, that is) but it is well worth it.  Best of luck there!

Working (last low-key/calm week before all the bigwigs come back), hopefully working out (leg is still "tender" so can't do cardio/step - I'll have to see what's on the agenda - if not, I'll go to the gym for a while instead of class)  Then maybe dinner with a few of my support group mates.

PreB: Vanilla Chai protein shake
B: 1% cottage cheese (1c) and 2T flaxseed, 1/2 Grapenuts knock-off
L: Tuna w/Santa Barbara peach mango slasa and 1 T sunflower seeds, baby carrots
D: If I go out, a hamburger (the place we're going to makes the best) and a salad.

My current problem is I'm stuck on a hard-candy jag.  I managed to trhow the remains of 2 bags away today, so I'm hoping it's out of my system (I'm not talking sugar free here either!)

Thursdays are never a good food day for me.  It is my day off and I spend most of the morning / early afternoon running my mom around to her hair appt, errands and grocery shopping.  I never get in enough protein or calories as I usually don't stop to eat.

I had a big ol mug of protein chai tea already.  Will probably have some cheese and soy crisps before I head out the door.  After that.......well, no clue.  I will bring along a RTD protein shake to keep in her fridge and have later on my way home.

Maybe 1/2 beef patty with cheese and some zucchini for dinner.  And definately an OhYeah protein wafer for a LNS!

I have been waiting to post here until I was eating a little more normal and was moved to soft foods yesterday so I am ready to start!

I am going to my nephews first flag football game tonight so I will be rearranging my normal eating times a bit.  Since I still don't feel any hunger, that is not a problem.  It's just getting it all in.

Protein Shake
String Cheese
1/2 C Wendy's Chili
1/2 C Chicken Salad (homemade so low-fat)
1/2 C Wendy's Chili
1/2 Cup Cottage Cheese or String Cheese

I am looking forward to planning the next few days since I am able to eat different foods.  Funny how you always want what you can't have.

 I lost 29 on my 4 week pre-op diet
