I'm here.  It's morning.  I've got two tapes of dictation to transcribe leftover from yesterday.  I'm doing a day-in-the-life post on my blog today and need to get that started.  My food is planned and I'll log it into FitDay today .... I'll update later after I'm done typing a bunch...

I'm back....

So here's the deal today.  I've been wanting to do a Day in the Life type post on my blog for a while and I just so happen to bring my camera to work today.  So today's the day.  I've got it started and updated through 11:00.  Check it out.  It'll be either super boring and self-indulgent or kinda cool and interesting.  LOL! 

I'm trying to do pictures throughout the day and an update whenever I do some new profound thing (like eat lunch or something).  It'll give you a glimpse into my daily routine, at least.  Plus I'm trying to link to all the stuff I use in a day - vitamins, food, my phone, etc. as well as recipes for food I'm eating today - since I get asked about stuff like that all the time.  Also keeping a tally of my calories as I eat and my GoWearFit calories burned throughout the day. 

Today's eats:

Commute -- Protein chai tea
Arrive at work -- fake latte
Breakfast -- yogurt and blueberries
Lunch -- white chicken chili and pretzel crisps
Snack - grapes & cheese
Dinner -- not sure yet, but some type of meat (chicken or fish maybe?) and leftover roasted carrots
LNS -- ???

I did better yesterday getting more calories :) 1100! Yea me. Hope it shows in the scales this week.

1) click w/ soy milk for extra protein
2) mojo bar (200 calories & 10 g of protein, I don't think this one is worth it, but I bought them, so I have to eat them)
3) Healthy choice frozen dinner (pay day is a-coming)
4) yogurt
5) idk what's for dinner, maybe go get mexican :)
6) depends on dinner.

Good Morning

just got back from my pre-op physical with my PCP.  she cleared me.  yelled at me because I had gained 30 pounds since the last time she weighed me.   well umm YEAH.... i'm having surgery for that exact problem in 2 weeks thank you very much....

had blood work...

just had a shake made with CINCH protein powder 1% milk and vanilla and white chocolate syrups.  tastes like cake batter to me.   I made all gone.  

rest of my day will be protein protein and more protein (and maybe some strawberries) as I have to go get on the surgeon's scale tomorrow to be weighed for surgery. I hope i've lost enough and can relax a bit before surgery.  otherwise I have to really stress between now and the 21st.  ugh.

oh i'm getting a cut and color today....

He is not happy today!!!  I knew this was coming.  He has been WAY to quiet the past week.

Yeah, I ordered Peppermint Pattie and Pumpkin Spice to use with my click this fall and Christmas.  Yum.  These bottles are really piling up.  I also paid the $3 to ship some chocolite bars without melting.  Haven't had any all summer and just don't have Shair's resolve to wait until cold weather.

B:  Carbmaster yogurt, unflav protein, Benefiber
S:  1 scoop Click, Cinnamon Cappuccino protein & SF Cinnamon Dolce syrup
L:  2 oz turkey, yellow pepper, red raspberries
S: 1/4 c. cottage cheese with Splenda
D:  Peanut butter choc fudge protein frosty shake with SF choc syrup and PB2 added in with 
      about 14 ice cubes
S:  none - I'm always too full for anything by that time of the day.

I'm getting back on the horse and starting to train for my next 5K so I thought I'd pop in here and become accountable.  I'm one week in to sugar free free, preservative free, artificial free eating.  It's not as hard as I thought it would be.

B- Protein coffee shake with unsweetened soy milk, Biochem sports natural whey, 1 TBSP cocoa nibs, 1 TBSP wheat germ, 1 packet instant coffee

S- 1/2 fresh peach and a hard boiled egg

L- Beef borguignon (had to make it after I saw Julie/Julia) and it is yummy!

S2- 1/2 fresh peach and mozzarella stick pre-work out

D- Italian turkey sausage and fiber gourmet noodles

LNS- greek yogurt with walnuts and agave nectar

Calories- 1048, 41g fat, 109 g carbs (29g fiber), 103g protein

I sometimes think that I’m the queen of Grouchy Pouch Days, but I’m having another one of those today. I’m trying really, really hard to get the protein up, bc I’ve just started getting the “hair shedding" thing going on and it is NOT hot, let me tell ya.  

b- protein shake (24 g protein)
s- 1.5 string cheese (12 g protein)
l- protein shake (24 g protein)
s- 1.5 string cheese (12 g protein)
d- 1 Boca meatless patty with a 1/2 tbsp of Ranch (14 g protein)  

lots of water and Vitamin Water 10  

About 800 cals and 84 g protein? (recommended for me is 60-80 g)

well, I'm still struggling with the snacking, but yesterday was much better than the weekend - tho not as good as I wanted it to be.  I haven't had a period in about 2 months...maybe that's where the munchiness is coming from?  who knows.  The scale hasn't gone up, but I feel very FAT today - feel like I"m bursting out of my clothes.  Can you gain several inches w/o gaining weight? 

Today's food:

B - 1/2 cup 2% cottage cheese
S - 0% fage w/fber one
L - 3 turkey meatballs, fresh veggies w/fage/ranch dressing
S - peanut butter cookie protein ice cream
D - ??
S - peanut butter frosty delight
