My skinny pants are baggy!

I need a damn Palm Pre so I could take a pic. My phone is the free one and you can only send pics to other phones...grrrr...

Yesterday I wore a designer size 8 slacks and they fit like a glove! Today some pants I had that were always cinched at the waist fit just right.

So maybe something IS happening over here. It fuh-damn-sho ain't showing on the scale so I must be building muscle or sumpin.

But yay me!

ETA: (note to all) notice that this is happening and I still eat carbs, eat a good deal of fat, and tortilla chips in moderation. That is all!

Is it the "food should taste good" nachos? I buy those things religiously!

We're doing Disney next year. Perfect timing. 2 years out and I can probably eat like a halfway normal person (normal being not an overeater--hopefully).

You'll have to let us know how it goes. You should blog about it. "Disney post-WLS..."

Just like you are the shizz with WLS, I have no problem telling you I am the shizz of Disney planning!!!  If you need ANY help with your Disney planning, do let me know!!! Back in the day when I was too fat to work in the public with Disney (no lie) you had to be a size 14 or smaller to be "onstage" and work with the public, I worked in the bakery of the Grand Floridian and hubby worked at River Country for years!  We have LOTS of tips and secrets that are awesome!  I would love to plan or help you plan a perfect trip!  And honestly...you can do Disney on a budget and have a great trip!!!!    So let me know when you are ready to start planning!

BTW....as of yet, I am not much of a blogger.....might have to think real hard about that one!

Girl, I been to Disney more times than I care to admit so I'm a little set in my ways.

Can I just say though that I LOVE the food plan? I dare even a regular stomached person to get hungry on that thing! Last time I went I was 335 lbs. and I was satisfied on that plan! And I loved the luggage service although last time we went it was the very first week of it and I was a wee bit nervous. But the meal plan is the real deal. Where they let you eat...the thing pays for itself in a day and a half. We had a great dinner at the Contemporary Resort that literally cost the equivalent of one of our week long meal plans. They should not have let us see that!

Since I have kids we tend to stay at all star movies resort (I like that one best) for seven days with the meal plan. We always do the Pooh breakfast at Crystal Palace and the girls enjoyed the Princess Dinner in Norway at Epcot. This time I MAY rent a car although I generally only want to be in Disney so I use their transport system.

Girl, we could get together and write a Disney book!

Let's do it!!  I was thinking at first I was scared to eat at Disney cause you just never know where peeps like to hide sugar....and I have not yet tried to see if I dum*****t....although I have been very tempted!!  But then I got to thinking....Disney is one of the very rare places that the chef will actually come out and talk you about your dietary needs and make a meal just for you!  So I am going with that!  We love all of the All Star Resorts!  In fact, we paid to stay at POP Century, the newest All Start Resort and got booted up to a one bedroom villa at Saratoga Springs for free!!!!!  Not to mention, we got the dining plan for free and a bunch of other free shizz.....and this had nothing to do with either of us working for Disney in the past!!!  It is going to be a great vacay....and no seat belt extender for me this trip!!!!

We are doing Crystal Palace too....haven't tried Norway, but I hear great things!

I was looking at menus and found somewhere has a NSA Creme Brulee......and I do not dump on fat!!! (Yes, I found that one out fairly early on) and I have been dreaming about it.  I know I could make a meal out of that alone....but better get teh stats on at least the protein in there first ;-)  But yep, I have no doubt we could do a great WLS Disney book....seriously!  I think we should!!!!

Mmmm...creme brulee...

I trust you'll be asking lots of questions at sit-down places. I would say avoid sauces like the plague. Ask for things grilled with no butter or even better broiled. At sit downs, stick to stuff like shrimp, salmon, etc.

Norway...meh...I'm not so much for smoked salmon and the like. The main draw was the princesses. I think they know that too.

Yep! I am all ready to have my little talks with the chefs!  I can just hear my converstions now...I will take the 1.5 oz. filet, cooked medium rare, sno sauce,  1 oz of some delicious veg....lo carb of course....no sugar added anywhere and try to avoid the white carbs if at all possible!

Not much on shrimp.....tried it a while ago and actully got sick on it...but the crab cakes I have seen on the Disney menus look mighty yummy and more crab than filler if you get my drift!

I will be sure to journal my food for sure!  It will be interesting to see what alternatives I can have at all the places we go...including the snack shacks.  I already know Greg will get a Dole Whip....pinapple soft serve that is out of this world...and I am sure I will get some fresh pineapple on a stick!  Besides, everything is better on a stick...right?

Yep, we will ahve to write a book.  I can do, and have done LOTS of research and you can write!!!!!    We could be the perfect team.....and you can be the first author listed!!  sound like a deal????
