You caught that before I changed it. Yay you!

It's so simple (I'm a big 5 ingredient or less girl)

3 slices pork bacon
1 pkg lowfat turkey kielbasa
1 box thingie of low sodium chicken stock
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 small onion, diced
1 c. mushrooms diced
1 can of chopped tomatoes/chiles (or just tomatoes if you don't like heat)
some red pepper flakes (or not if you don't like heat)

Directions:

It's so simple (I'm a big 5 ingredient or less girl. This one has a bit more ingredients but they are all usually in your kitchen anyway)

Ingredients:

1 pkg lowfat turkey kielbasa
1 box thingie of low sodium chicken stock
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 small onion, diced

1 can of chopped tomatoes/chiles (or just tomatoes if you don't like heat)
some red pepper flakes (or not if you don't like heat)

Directions:

1. Fry bacon. Remove bacon from pan and sautee onions and mushrooms in leavings. Drain and put veggies in a pot.

2. Add chicken stock and garlic and simmer on low.

3. Dice up your turkey kielbasa and cook that in a non-stick sprayed pan until the bits become crisp

4. Combine with onion/mushroom/stock mixture. Add cut cabbage, tomatoes/chiles, red pepper flakes and bring to boil then drop heat to medium/low and simmer until cabbage is cooked through!

I spent the evening shopping at health food stores and found some new stuff to try. I got some of the Syntrax Nectar in the Fuzzy Navel flavor at the Vitamin Shoppe. It tastes okay, but the smell kinda gets to me, so I just don't breathe while I'm drinking it. (You know, the first time I ever had Fuzzy Navels, I didn't remember very much the next day!) I shared a scoop of my Fuzzy Navel powder with the store manager since she had never tasted it. She gave me a ton of samples, but a lot of them were the gummy vitamins.

I also got some unflavored protein by Designer Whey, papaya enzyme, biotin, soy crisps, snap pea crisps, and miso soup mix from Drug Emporium. I also bought a bag of mung beans. Never even heard of them before, but they're the beans used to make bean sprouts. You can also cook them just like you would any other beans. I think I'll post about them to see if anyone has ever used them.

I bought some chocolate whey protein powder by EAS at Target. I really like the EAS Advantedge Carb Control RTDs and hope the powder will taste good, too.

B - Shelley's Italian Egg Bites
S - mozzarella cheese
L - cottage cheese
S - babybel cheese
D - cottage cheese
S - Fuzzy Navel nectar drink, soy crisps

I think with all that cheese you better take some stool softners!!! LOL  Please let me know if you like the powder, I too like the RTD and I don't want to keep ordering unjury, it's too expensive.

I have a bottle of the EAS vanilla right now.  I don't have anything to comare it o really but I can say that I have a hard time mixing it up.  It seems to clump a bit.

Kelly, I tried the chocolate EAS protein powder this morning. The drink was way too sweet for me, but I did add some SF Torani Kahlua to it, so that might have been what made it so sweet.

I love the RTDs in the Chocolate Fudge flavor. I'm not really crazy about milk chocolate, and the powder is a much lighter chocolate than the RTDs. I'll try it again tomorrow and maybe add in some cocoa to up the dark chocolate factor. Or maybe there's a dark chocolate SF syrup out there. I'll let you know how that turns out.

Thanks, I'm not a fan of milk chocolate either, like my coffee and my chocolate dark!
