Yeah, just ran out of coping mechanisms and everything's "same **** different day" at work, etc.

I can't eat my way out of it, can't email at work now, don't have OH at work, and have no adult "neighbors" in the building, so the isolation gets to me sometimes. Two and a half years out and I could still *easily* faceplant into a pan of brownies.

Since it seems that I am WAY low on protein and calories, I've bumped things up.  Hopefully, this is more appropriate! Can you take a look and tell me if things/stats look good; is this where I need to be? I am struggling with increasing the calories while staying low of carbs and not getting too much protein. 155 grams of protein just seems enormous!?!?!

B: 6 oz Greek yogurt with 3/4 scoop of whey protein & 1/4 cup cracklin oat bran cereal
L: 3 oz tuna fish
D: 4 oz pork chop
S: 4 oz pork chop
S: Protein shake

Stats: Cal 1058; fat 31.3g; Carb 36g; Protein 155g

I think you can handle more healthy carbs. How about a couple ounces of a vegetable when you have your meat?

I'm still a little pooped from yesterday...got Emily's room ready for Mark to clean the carpet, then I can start moving my office furniture in. Went and picked up my new desk and file cabinets yesterday...they were *heavy*. It was just me & Mark...Johnny's back at Wright State and so wasn't here to help. I'll be sure and make good use of him when he's home this weekend! I can't wait to get everything in my new office and get it organized, it'll be great to have the family room back! I take up half of it now with my desk, equipment, stationery for all my offices, etc. I cleaned the windows back there yesterday...sheesh! I let those get pretty grody.

A little later I'm going to chauffeur my mom around on her Meals on Wheels route. She has volunteered with them for about 20 years now. It's a great organization that takes meals to shut-ins.

Today...

Protein coffee at 4:00 a.m. (it was awful...Click should be here today or tomorrow, thank goodness)
One slice whole wheat bread with butter and a little brown sugar
Mocha coffee
Lunch - I'm gonna make some tuna salad, and will have that on an Arnold roll
Dinner - Think I'll cook out, haven't done that in a few days. Probably a hamburger and some baked beans
Snacks - trail mix, maybe some Kettle Corn tonight, Fuze

Better get some work done before headin' over to Mom's...have a great day!

So I was up 2 lbs for no discernable reason this morning, but oh well… It’ll come back off again and take more with it. I upped my cals and protein yesterday so that may be part of it- went up to about 1,000 cals? And ended up about 90 g protein for the day, despite having a Grouchy Pouch Day.

I’m pretty sure it was too much for my body to handle, so today is back to more water and lower on the cals.   Total should be about 550 cals and about 52 g protein until I hit dinner. I’ll probably do a protein shake for dinner and end up about 710 cals and 76 g protein. That’s IF I can cram in all the food I need, because I’m having Attack of the Evil Pouch going on today already

I have to monitor my blood sugar 7 times a day for the ob to see how i react to food. ugh.

soooo today so far is :

2 of sharis' griddle things with 2 slices of canadian bacon and no egg
a homemade sugar free caramel Frap. (yes, I love my coffee now) using click. eep.

Lunch will likely be pizza tortilla wrap (turkey pep, cheese, pizza sauce for dipping)

snacks will include: a protein bar, tortilla chips and guac, maybe some carob haystacks (someone has to help me figure out how to make these at home using protein powder. ugh. I'm so not a cook)

dinner will be some kind of chicken casserole or something I think.  not really sure. maybe a chicken stew.

Going to try posting what I *think* I might have (one step closer to pre-planning I guess).  I'm usually getting between 1000 and 1200 cals, 72+ gms protein etc.  Still, any feedback would be appreciated.

I've lost about 10 lbs since July 1 and am getting quite frustrated - I think the under 200 lbs mark is just taunting me - I'd like to think that I'll lose the 16 or so pounds to get there before my surgiversary... but am getting increasingly doubtful that it will happen.

Pre-B: EAS carb control shake
B: Eggbeaters omelet with 2% cheese
L: FF Re fried beans & cheese, cottage cheese
D: Grilled chicken strips and steamed veggies
S (throughout the day - when I can get 'em in... lotsa meetings today): Fiber One yogurt; Glenny's Soy Chips & Hummus; Fruit (figs, strawberries, peach)

@1057 cal, 96gms protein, 36g fat, 100g carbs (75g net carbs)
