Nice! Seems you have a good concept of your realistic expectations and a talented surgeon who listens...I'm so impressed with your outcomes (weight loss, food and exercise, procedures, dogged determination!); thanks for sharing and inspiring...you're a person I'm glad to have "met" along the way!

Shari, you may not have been going for pretty - but I gotta tell you - you ended up there. You look beautiful. I can see the spark and glow that I saw in your pre-op face.

Most importantly, you do look very healthy. Hope the healing is going well for you.

I really am speechless.  You look unbelievable.  Your surgeon did an incredible job.  If you do not mind me asking, how expensive were the procedures.  Of all the plastic surgery procedures, facial are the ones I am most interested in pursuing.  Clothes cover everything else, so I have to choose wisely for my $$.  You look beautiful.

Thanks--- here's the breakdown: (as well as I can recall)

Lower bleph-- $2,500
Upper bleph--- free, I did advertising in trade, but would have been $2,500-- often if your vision is occluded your insurance will cover this
Lower face lift- $5,000
Fraxel and bleph re-do-- was free to try to fix initially lousy blephs
Fat Implants-- Had my butt lifted and they harvested the fat at the same time-- was only $1,500
Botox- I get a deal-- $200 every 6 months or so. Without it my eyebrows bunch up somethin' fierce.

Total cost then to me-- $9,200-- spread over three years. I had help with my body plastics (personal loans) but the face I paid myself. It mattered to me.

Wow, you look amazing... and you give me hope!  I've got the family curse of puffy bags below the eyes and I've noticed them getting worse with age (and weight loss).  Your eyes look amazing... can you provide a little detail of what all was involved with the blepharoplasties, and if you don't mind, ballpark figure of how much you paid?  I'm thinking that's going to be one of the first places I start my reconstruction...

Thanks...and congrats!

See above post-- I'd say the lower bleph probably gives the most bang for your buck, but they have to really be aggresive and take enough skin-- mine was redone three times because it was so crepe-y and hangy.
