Hi Ana, I know a lot of people eat this. I've seen people here mention it as well as in my support group. I plan on eating it a little farther down the road. For me personally, if I ate 19g carbs at one time I'd be a mess. That's a lot to have so soon after surgery. If you do eat them, be sure to post how your body deals with it. I'd definitely be interested. We all react to carbs differently

I did and they were good. If you can get to the store though buy a couple of cans of (fat free)refried beans and add season, and cheese to it.  I have them now and also add taco sauce and sour cream or greek yogurt to it,but I just by the cans from wallyworld or where ever there is a sale on them.

I've never ordered beans from taco bell, but I buy cans of refried beans in the store all the time.  Beans are great complex carbs!  They always sit really well in my stomach.  A bit later on if you mix the refired beans with ground beef with taco seasoning, cheese and some greek yogurt it's a great high protein meal!

The sugars in yogurt come from the milk.  If you buy plain greek yogurt the it does not have added sugar.  Greek yogurt is great for us after WLS since it has so much protein in it!  Sugar makes me dump, but greek yogurt does not.

Idont think you should have 4 0z so soon, start with 2 ou. Whatever 2 ou looks like, hey Im still new.  My friend said a can lasted her a week.  I love Mexican food, Im married to one, and this will be challenging.  I think we will be able to work up to an enchilada and a 1/4 of refried beans at the next fiesta, bbq, or quincenera.
