Strange Feeling

So I just got in about the biggest argument with my mother that I've been in a long time. Just some things that needed to be gotten out by both of us. When I started getting really pissed off and upset, all at the same time, my stomach and guts started getting really uncomfortable!! Not really serious pain, but very uncomfortable!! I'm only about a week and a half out, so I know everything is still healing, but has this happened to anyone else?

Stress/anger/emotions = acid

Acid in your old stomach (or new one if you have any acid producing spots in the pouch) results in irritatino to the staple line .... it's something you might expect

if you have a PPI (prilosec) then take it.... then meditate or calm down, get the acid to back down.

That makes sense. I didnt think of the acid aspect, but it makes sense. I take prilosec twice daily. I was taking it before surgery, but afterwards my surgeon said that he makes everybody go on it for at least 3 months after surgery. And thanks, i did calm down, I figured what ever she's gonna think, is what she thinks, and there's nothing I can do about it. She's no different than "whoever" on the street, that thinks what they think, and there's no reason to fret over it. I just thought it was funny that my guts were having "sympathy" pains!!
