OMGosh TY for the insight! I'm 1wk post op and this clear liquid diet is BRUTAL. My mental status at this point is shaky from buyers remorse and generally missing food. But it does help to see posts from all you wonderful ppl that it will get better!

I did want to tell you one thing that may help. I noticed you're not enjoying the vitamin taste very much. In one week I'll start my vitamins, but I had samples given to me by the NP and they were AMAZING! They tasted like candy. They were so flipping good I cannot tell you what a relief it was to be able to take a vitamin without it tasting like charcoal. It's called Fusion. I believe you can only get it online, but I'm telling you...you gotta get these. They are designed for bariatric patients...I can't wait til I can start taking them lol They're gonna be a treat hah

I also tried the protein powders in cappuccino, orange creme, and french vanilla. All were to die for! I enjoyed them very much (can u tell?) hah

My personal faves for the vitamins are strawberry and orange creme. I have a bottle of orange creme just waiting for me to start taking as of next Thurs! :D

Thanks for sharing and glad you are doing well.  I had my pre-op appt yesterday and am scheduled for RNY 4/11.  I asked so many questions as to what to expect in the hospital and after I go home.  Hearing how well you are doing helps.
